Well a new efi intake manifold, harness, tb, computer, spacer and mass air meter would cost me well over $1000.

A new carb, intake, fuel pump, fuel lines and pick up cost me cost me about $650. Now with the efi you don't have to get a new intake manifold but then the mass air swap would yeild me any hp gains at all. I'm not going to argue it anymore, everyone has there preference.

Carb stuff can be had very cheaply. If I were you, I'd get a jet kit, pump cam kit, some spare squirters and you are in business. That stuff don't go stale. I've got some of that stuff that I've had for 15+ years, nice to have it because it's not always real easy to get to a speed shop for it...
Even at todays prices, the stuff won't cost you $100....

well guys don't bash me to hard for this but here goes. 1st off i'm swapping a 5.0 into a 89 nissan 240sx and i'm going carb. i wont have to spend days wiring it in and the look of the import guys when they hear the v8 and see the bird catcher peekin out.
