Default running rich or lean?

i know my car has no cats so it has to smell a little of gas, but i think its a little to much! actually a lot, does it mean its running lean or rich? and what problems can that cause? how to fix it? maby this can be to my car running like ****?

Did it do it before you had no cats? If you just put a mid pipe on with no cats and you just started smelling it its prob just your exhaust. I smell a huge difference just with a SLP catback lol If thats the case its prob just exhaust fumes lingering around....

If the smell is overbearing then it's running lean, bring it to any local shop and let them do a diagnostic on the ecu and then they can make any proper adjustments.

Well a shop is the only place that can run a full diagnostic on the ecu to see what's causing the problem because it could be a simple as the ecu tripped to as technical as damaged or malfunctioning fuel injectors.

could also be an exhaust leak. if your exhaust is filling the car its going to smell even if your running a perfect 14.7 afr
