Default Water Pump

I just installed a Powermaster 140 amp alt. and ordered a Black Magic Xtreme fan and was thinking of replacing the water pump after the electric fan.

Any recommendations on what brand/model of water pump to go with?

I ordered the whole Jegs "Ultimate cooling kit" and it came with an aluminum water pump that appears to be high quality... check it out.

I have an edelbrock victor 5.0 pump, if you get one of these grind down the top of the 2 bolts holding the backing plate on or it might leak.
but it cools much better than the stock one.

I was leaning towards the Edelbrock pump anyway and appreciate the heads up on grinding down the two bolts holding the backing plate.
