does anybody have them. i have some on a 89 stang and they seem to sit farther in then my previous tail lights. so i was wondering if they are smaller then the original. cause the hatch door use to shut even with the lights but now it sits out about an inch. so if anybody could tell how to fix this problem let me know thanks

actually, the 85-96 taol lamp lens is the same size as the 87-93 LX lens.....

unfortunatly yes, I see soooooooooooooooooo many 87-93 mustangs with 86 lights and it just pisses me off [:@]

i know i figured it out. my buddy had some old ones that were in rough shape and i took them apart and took all the rubber seal out and epoxyed them back together and the rubber seal made the lenses stick out about an inch and thats exactly the difference that i need. i got some coming in on monday from ebay. i just wanted to try out my buddys to see what they look like on my car. and for the guy that is mad about us having 86 taillights. i like them because that is what the 93 cobra has minus the pin stripes. its better that then the eurotrash

^+1 on being better than the euro trash (ricer im assuming) but the LX taillights from 87-93 are nice and clean looking, i actually prefer those over the 86 or 93 cobra... jmo though
