Hey everyone, i own a 1989 mustang 5.0. It was running well, this morning when I started her, what I belive to be the fuel pump was very loud, I went to the store, came back, and now it will not start, It does turn over no problem, just no start, When i have my key in the ON position i no longer hear the pump "hum" any ideas? and if it is fuel pump any ideas on how much it will be to replace? thanx!!!

If the pump was louder than normal, I would say it isnt a relay but instead the pump went out.

could be a pump circut failure? relay could be gone, and or pump just died.

The pump probably just crapped out. Not that big of a deal, they aren't that expensive. Do you plan on doing future mods to your car? This would be a good time to upgrade to 190 or 255 lph just to support any future mods.
