wont rev above 1500 rpms
hi me and my friend just got back from driving the mustang a little hard and it dies on us and barely starts. it drove ok for about 2 minutes but when we got back in the neighborhood it stalled again. it started back up but now it wont rev above 1500 rpms, and it seems like if you give it more than 10% of throttle it will die down. Im pretty sure its something electrical, what sensor would be making it not rev past 1500 rpms?

that happened to a 93 passat vr6 i used to have, it did that for a while, sounded like a diesel engine and eventually died a few days later, i think the mech told me the timing chain snapped, i hated that car so i junked it for $100.
