another question about heads?

another question about heads?
Ok, I talked with my dad about the 351 heads he has in his garage. I know they are a set of windsor heads because they used to be on the 289 motor in his 65 mustang. He told me he thought they were the "open" heads. I know the cleveland heads have a open chamber design. Is there something with the windsor heads that have some type of "open" heads?

Green; look for a C-0 or a D-0 casting number. If they have that, OK.
If not I don't think they are doing anything with.
I've been told that those 2 I mentioned are the same casting's as the GT 40 head.......

351 heads, i run,
you want the valves to look like this, the wrong 351 heads with crossed type valve setup , will smack the piston.
if they are not ported and just the 351w head aka DO0E C9 etc, they are good for 30 hp over factory ones due to bigger valves and small chambers
