Where is my coolant temp sender.

Where is my coolant temp sender.
I'm looking for the sender for my water temp gauge. I was only able to find some type of sender tapped into a coolant pipe on the left side of the distributor, just above the thermostat housing. This sender has a two-wire connector on it. I was expecting the sender to only have one wire on it. Is this the right one?

RE: Where is my coolant temp sender.
the gauge sending unit is on the lower manifold, drivers side, toward the front.
It threads directly into the manifold
The gauge sending unit has a single wire
The ECT is in the heater tube on the passenger side of the intake
The ECT uses 2 wires.
