headlight problem

I have a 92 gt and i think that my headlight dimmer switch is shot. When i turn on my dash light switch to engadge the headlights my dash lights turn on but no headlight....the only way that i can get headlight is if i hold down my flasher on the dimmer switch and then that only shines high beams...what do you guys think that my problem is

Sounds like the headlight switch to me too. Same thing happened to me and thats what it was for me. Blueovalindustries sells a brand new motorcraft headlight/foglight switch for around $50. You may also want to look at the harness plug that connects to the switch and see if it is discolored/has overheated. Blueovalindustries also sells a replacement harness connector that you can solder in with some bigger gauge wire to help prevent the overheating in the future. Thats around $10 bucks and might be well worth it to you. Hope that helps.

yep sounds like the switch is toast. Make sure you get it fixed b4 it burns out any more of your wiring harness. Could get pricey if you dont take care of it soon.[>:]
