Either are good. From the sounds of things so far on this thread. I guess you can't change the heads on a 351W to some good flowing ones . Clevelands require more work to get into a mustang & cost more money to upgrade. A few of you are acting like one is made of gold. You can fix weaknesses, they call it aftermarket.

in a nutshell: the cleveland is a better motor stock, the windsor is a better (easier) motor to bolt into a mustang and easier to find parts for.

rmodel check your mail, i was wandering what a 4 barrel cleveland motor was worth. these would need to be rebuilt i guess. don't know whether bore is standard or not. thanks.

i only read a little bit of this thread, i wasnt happy with my windsor compared to a carbbed 302, it wasnt worth the trouble or the oil pan pick up tube and special headers, it wasnt much faster than a good 302, mine was carbbed all stock, anyway i abused it way hard and threw a rod, im going back to a 302, dont know about clevlands diff motor family, myself i like simplicity and no ecu's so carbbed is simpilar but prolly less fuel efficient
