torque box ?

keep in mind that no matter where you weld them at you be sure and not get them too hot and because you will stress the thin members causing cracking further down the road and stitch weld them also because if they are solid and start to crack they will crack all the way down the weld and keep going. trust me on this i just got finished putting in a brand new stang box and all the trimmings.

i was on some web sites and nobody had them stitch welded. if i do it this way it will be just as strong right? i bought some metal today so on tuesday when i weld the seams i can maybe put in some reinforcement. just couldnt see where i could add to it. i've seen torque box plates for the lowers but cant figure out where they go. i thought they went right below the arms but then i wonder if they do wouldnt the arm hit it?
