Default Nitto Snow Tires???

So today Oregon and Washington got hit pretty bad with some snow. I drove home from work early because I was worried if the snow got real deep I wouldn't make it home. Probably about 1-2" of snow was on the road when I was driving home and I made it with no problems at all.

(Was driving on Nitto 555 Extremes, 275/40/17's on the back and 245/45/17's on the front)
