Is this possible? I love the look of the 4 eyes, but i need airbags (dad) ive seen a later fox with a four eye front end, but i was wondering what all it would take, and if the 87+ GT body kit could still be used, Thanks.

To swap the front end, youll need nose clip (with header panel), front bumper (steel or aluminum), fenders, hood. It all should just bolt right up. You can use the side skirts, and the rear lower skirt, but the front one wont line up with out major customization.

theres a white 89(?) gt hatchback on ebay that has the 82gt front end on it. thats the only 4-eye i actually like.

A little cutting and grinding on the fiberglass bumper and it will fit behind the 4-eye bumper cover. I just did this on the '86, using the fiberglass bumper out of a newer fox.

Try the 82 gt front end and it will look good with the gt side skirts and rear bumper. I did this the other way around 82gt with full 87gt body kit including power doors but i still have to put the 87 1/4 windows. this is the only 4-eye that catches my attention but still love my 87. Heres a pic and get an idea of how yours could look

you dont need to change your fenders I think the 4eye nose should bolt up. if not drill some new holes but shouldnt be much. just hood, front end.

They are different. At least theyre different than my 85. Where the ground effect that bolts up the nose clip attaches to the fender, the position of the holes and the cut of the fender is different. I tried putting a fender off of an 89 on and it didnt fit. ANyone need a RF 89LX fender? [8D]
