What cam?
Keep the lift below .500 and they will flow pretty well and supposedly have a littlemore power due to better combustion (relocated plugs in head). You will need FRPP headers, Mac headers for P heads, or certain long tubes to clear the plugs.
W/ P heads and the right combo, you should be able to reach 280-290rwhp.

Definatly get a valve work and better springs. They still flow over .500, so better springs will be a good idea. But if you lookin at just heads, you should start lookin at cams and intakes too, they all work together. Lost of people hit the 300rwhp mark with P heads. I plan to, time will tell..........
