Default spots in tires

well my 5.0 has been sleeping for the winter, i just took it out around the block a couple times to keep it runing and i notice its thumping which would meen that i have spots in my tires, is there anyway i might be able to fix this or is the only option to buy new tires?

Ouch...new tire time. That's why you want to move the car every two weeks or so, or put junk tires on it for a long storage period. Tires show signs of flatspotting after a surprisingly small period of time.

I should have mentioned that...a minor case should go away with driving, depends on how bad. I had a set sit on a car for 4 months over winter, crappy set but they got it real bad and no amount of driving got rid of em. Give it a try

put it on jackstands ALWAYS if its gunna be sitting for a week or more

as for the flat spot.. did u use the e-brake at all?

im sure its only 1 tire.. bring the car in for a rotate/balance and ask them to identify flat spots in the tires and u should replace them.

do a big burn out and get the tires good and heated up,then get someone to take a pic and post it .oyeah it should help " round" the tires back out
