Default Guages started jumping, help

I was driving as usual when i noticed my RPM guage start going all over the place and my car started sputtering barely... Then a few seconds later my oil temp guage went to 0 and the car stalled..
Anybody have a clue what this could be? I start the car and the same problems persisted until I got home.

check you oil level first thing! if it's OK, then I would check the electrical connections at the battery and the hot side of the starter solenoid where everything gets its power from and go from there. make sure the coil connection and the TFI module into the side of the distributor are clean and tight also. have you had the ignition switch replaced under the recall they had?? if not, ask your dealer about this as some years had a recall for this and it could be part or all of your problem too.
