Default RE: MAF sensor question

Sounds good to me. Any 5.0 does IMHO.

Have you run codes on the computer to see what it tells you? Make sure to take them when the engine is at full operating temperature.

Do you just smell that it is rich or did the SMOG ****'s tell you it is rich?

Default RE: MAF sensor question

im gonna run the codes tomorrow. along with painting the interior. im gonna run some seafoam through it too then run codes again. little chilly and late tonight to check codes. i can tell its runnin rich, blackish smoke, fuel/carbony smell...
i assumed it was runnin rich because of the MAF sensor being broke, but when i replaced it, it does the same thing. (BAP unplugged, plugged in it idles hard and spews black smoke...) but yea the smog guys said it was a Gross Polluitor... hopeing that will change, along with maybe a little better gas mileage.
