TAPOUT

I have an 88 gt that has been seriously modified, and I am trying to work out a few bugs. I am only getting about 11 Volts when the car is running. A friend of mine checked the Alt, and said it is able to put out 13.5 Volts at idle, and the voltage regulator is probably bad. This is exactly what I thought was the problem, however, I can't find it anywhere. I went to Advanced auto parts, and picked up a regulator, but I can't find it to replace it. They were out of Mustang repair books at the store, so I am hoping one of you know where it is located. Thanks.

the regulator is built in with the alternator so you need to change the alternator out.

youll still have good power with pulleys. now check to see if everything is off then check it. my car still puts out the correct voltage about 1k rpms
