Heads and Intake.......?

Heads and Intake.......?
Alright was originally planning on installing the Trick Flow H/C/I package this summer but decided I need some more money for tires, wheels, and a new top to spruce up the look a little bit. The top is really bad and kind of leaks. So I decided to just go with heads and an intake mainly because I won't necessarily need tuning to make it run. What heads and intake should I go with? Obviously I want the most power possible out of the combination I get. Also should I upgrade to 24# injectors and a calibrated MAF or will the stock 19's do? Also will an electric water pump help me out with saving some hp or is it not worth the money. I've heard arguments for both. Oh yea I have a 1995 Mustang GT Convertible

Id wait and save up the money for the Trickflow (or any other HCI setup).
If you upgrade the heads and keep the stock cam youre not going to notice as much of a power increase as if you upgraded the cam.
Youre really not saving much by not getting a cam anyway. Youll still need rockers, pushrods, gaskets, etc when just changing the heads and intake anyway so the $200-300 you save on a cam really isnt worth the effort considering the intake needs to come off again to change the cam and all.
Youre better off doing it all at once. You might even save money by buying the Trickflow package compared to buying everything separately.
I know I spent more than the $2200 the TF package costs on my heads and cam already and nothing is on the car yet except the intake that was on the car when I bought it ($500 new).

alright well say I didn't want to get a package, I've heard that AFR 165's are pretty good for street driving. What cam would work good with those heads and a edelbrock performer intake?

Ive got AFR 165's and the Edelbrock Performer intake and Im looking into getting a custom cam from FTI. Its $325.

I couldnt really figure out which cam to get and alot of people said I should get a custom cam.
I wont be putting any of the parts on the car until I have everything I need.
