Well i won a hood on ebay. its a AGE classics hood. its a Cobra R model with the 96 to 98 scoops in it. it actually has ford part number scoops with it. they list new at 370 plus 100 for shipping. well i got it for 265 on ebay. drove from Pittsburgh PA to Durham NC just to get it. I left at 130 am got there about 930 am. handed him the money he gave me back 40 bucks for the trip home. left about 1030 got home by 545pm. went to sleep by 6pm woke up today at 1030 am. trip total was 17 hours of driving. spent 100 in gass about 970 in miles. so to sum it up drive all that way and only pay 220 for a hood that is still in the box, dude has a kid on the way and needed the money and couldnt afford to paint the car or the hood so it was better for him to sell it. worth it yes, will i ever do it again NO. now here is a pick of the hood. give me a couple weeks and ill post the pics of it and my car with the new paint job.

nice man i got mine sent in the mail. Forgot the exact address but here are some pics of what mine looks like from the place. i think mine is 3.5in though. So what kind of mustang do you have? Nice lookin hood though.

its about 3.5' tall. my ride is a 88 LX with the GT nose, wing and seats. as it sits its dark smoke grey. when im done its going ot be dark smoke grey on the bottom. from teh pintstripe down and from there up will be black then just up the middle part of teh hood it will still be grey as the nose will feed into it. the sides of the scoop down will be black down to that line. its had to describe but if you look back a few months in MMFF youll see a notchback with the same skeme but with sliver instead of grey as the bottom. and that it has a 4" cowl instead of the cobra R hood. whats nice is i got the clearence i need for my plans for the motor
