Agreed. I am going to try to track down a voltmeter this weekend and set the TPS. At the beginning of the year I am going for a dyno tune. That's where I'll have everything dialed in just right.

you can have plenty of sensor problems without ever flashing a code. your best bet is to get an eec 4 reader and see what the cp says.

Is your coolant temp sensor working? Maybe your car isn't going into "closed loop" mode and thus it (computer) is ignoring your O2's input. Thermastat stuck open? or removed recently?

Yes, you can have codes that do not turn on the MIL. I'm currently tracking down a Thermacter Air problem [:@] the codes keep setting but does not turn on the MIL.

Yea Coolant temp is working. Im pretty sure the thermostats good idunno im gonna take a look at it tomorow.

that system is the smog pump system reduces the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide content of the exhaust gases by allowing the combustion of unburned gases to continue after they leave teh combustion chamber. elimintating or bypassing the engines air injection pump is illegal in all 50 states in any vehicle registered and or operated on public roads. this pump on a 5.0 ho draws approximately 3 hp.

well im in Indiana and it doesnt matter here. will it in any way affect how the car runs?

well i does pump air into the motor. if you can properly block it all off your good to go. i plan on elimnating mine soon
