well if you do a H/C/I swap with all the supporting mods then you are gonna want to swap youre rear.. you might be fine without it till you do that stuff though... but if i had a 85.. i would probably swap it out just for my piece of mind.. but thats just me.

you did the right thing letting out of it. wheel hopping can break alot of stuff.
to me it sounds like you need to put some lower control arms on it.
or put an 8.8 in it. before i bought lower control arms, or a clutch pack for a 7.5 i would find an 8.8 rear end in a junk yard, and buy some good lower control arms for it too. i wouldnt waste my money buying parts for a mickey mouse 7.5 rearend.

ya but when that wheel started to wheel hop why didnt it spin tho . it sterted to when it wheel hopped and then jus quit and when noticed wasnt thats when let off it .
