have a 92' lx 5.0 with AOD trans want to rebuild. Would like some info on any good rebuild books, videos, articles, ect.

check out www.lentechautomatics.com for more info on the AOD. they pioneered the first hot rodded AOD trannies and produce and sell everything from kits to full race trannys. and they guarantee them also.

Make sure you know what you're doing before you tear it apart. There are a lot of parts to a transmission. I'm currently rebuilding a manual for the first time and it's not bad, but there's a lot more going on in an auto tranny. You'll probably need access to a machine shop of some sort because if the bearings are anything similar to a manual, you'll need to have them pressed off and on the main shaft.
