Default motor question

hey guys . my cousin has a 88 ford f-150 truck with 302 efi in it . and he wants to buy a engine off me for a spare which is a 93 302 efi ho out of a 93 cougar . and i dont have any problems sellin it to him but since one is ho and others not would he have any kind problems with it hooking it up and running .

i know the firing order is different, but i'm not sure if your gonna need to give him the computer too.

i figured firing order would be different cause seen other people in here talk bout that . but i didnt know if comp or anything else would . and i dont have comp out of that car car got junked and didnt even think bout keeping comp for anything .

cause i figured that motor would be perfectly ok puttin in a mustang if needed it since stang is ho and all figured wouldnt need the comp . wasnt plannin on sellin motor really cause i was jus gonna use it for a spare for my car . but he wants it and i need some cash .

They are correct, the firing order is a 351windsor firing order and can be used just relocate the pin outs for the injectors harness and your firing order on the distributor. Theres other ways to do it but for me thats the easiest way for me. Windsor is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 and the 302 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
