there is a reason bbk is so much more inexpensive than other companies, quality. i have used a couple of bbk brand items over the years, some were fine, some where awful. i had an 02 gt and put a bbk catted x pipe on it, and it was the best sounding exhaust i ever had on a mustang, but 2 weeks into driving it, the d-side cat broke up and started rattling, sent pipe back to bbk, got back over a month later, same x pipe with new cat welded it(was not happy about that, but they did a great job, super clean), threw it back on, drove another week before same side cat broke up again. got my money back and put a bassani catted x on it, never sounded as good as the bbk., oh and my 5.0l bbk cold air kit is horrible and i hate it.

OH ****......I have a BBK throttle body.

ORIGINAL: my77stang

i hear alot of bad things about BBK. the S197 guys say their throttle bodies are like the worst thing you could ever spend your money on. not because its no big HP gain, but because it fuggs everything up completely.

They have some really good products, but as for their intake; I've been to Brothers Performance (A BBK owned shop, where they do all there testing) They tested that intake when it first came out. "BBK doesn't like their own product!"
