Default Throttle

I've noticed on working on new and newer cars thatthe throttle is a lot easier to push. On both my Horses (Stang & Bronco) the throttle is kind of stiff. Sort of hindering the throttle response so to speak. What can a guy/gal do to help free things up a bit besides, lubing up the throttle cable, throttle body, maybe take out a spring or weaken it, but that may result in disaster down the road, huh?

TIA

ain't you never heard of "fly by wire"?? it means there are no mechanical connections between the control devices and the devices being actuated, everything is done by computer signals through wires to motors, solenoids, hydraulic valves, etc. that in turn move what needs to be moved.

You may need to lube/replace your throttle cable, i noticed when i replaced my TV cable my throttle was alot smoother. I might even get a new throttle cable too.

Yeah I'm aware of THAT. So it looks like a new throttle cable would do the trick of lubing the old one and throttle body doesn't...

No TV cable either...or CC
