RE: Alternator Problems????
You have a wire that plugs into it, I think it is black with an orange stripe. That wire has some little fuse looking things that run in line on it. Check those. They could be blown. I had the same problem with my friends car once.

Had a similar thing happen to me where my cars lights would start dimming and the battery light (charging light) on my car would start flickering at WOT. Bench test of the alt. show'd 3 good tests and two bad tests. I replaced the alternator, no more flickering or lights dimming. This was on an '00 V6 manual.

RE: Alternator Problems????
Could be. Check it with a voltage tester. Check the plug ins on the alternator as well. They are notorious for failure. Only $7 at your local partshouse if you do need one. Check both black/orange wires, and the fusible link is right under the starter solenoid. It will be on a dark green wire. Check that. The car *should* still run if you disconnect the battery. So if it isn't, there is a problem either with the alternator or your wiring.
It's a simple fix. Just check your wiring carefully.
Here. This will help.
