Default Two tires have slow leaks

A couple months ago, I bought a couple of used tires for the rear of my car. They have like 90% tread left, and hook really well. Lately, however, it's gotten to the point where they're losing like 10 psi every two days. I took them to the local tire shop, and they inspected them (including submerging them), but found no leaks. I would HATE to have to shell out cash for new tires, as these are awesome. Any suggestions for fixing the tires? Is it likely that just the valve stems areleaking? Thanks, fellas.

if the tire wasn't leaking while submerged, it is more than likely the bead.
some leaks won't show up until there is force on the tire.

debead the tires, clean the mounting surface on the rim, and use bead sealer.

problem solved.

Thanks, Mattdel. That's easier to swallow than shelling out $300 right now.

bring it to a place that does mainly tires. if you bring it to a regular shop that just happens to have a tire machine, they won't really know the correct procedure.

something like Town Fair Tire, which is local to me, i dunno where you are, or maybe a Firestone, something like that.

When i got some used rims and tires for my moms care the tires were leaking when i put them on. Turned out to be the valves. Got some for free at kaltire down the road. Fixed all the tires but one. The last one ended up just being dirty. So make sure all the surfaces are clean as a whistle.
