so if i was to get a used 5.0 out of an explorer say 1998 or so..(for the heads and intake) what would i need to do to make those heads work on my 5.0 in my 87 would my headers and my professional products intake and all that crap bolt up or what...do i need to get the heads worked and get bigger valves or something?
please any help i really want to do gt40 and e303 cam upgrade

they will bolt up. I have them on my 88. have to get new headers though.

You'll need P specific headers and I would go w/ the TFS stage 1 cam instead. It will make you more power.

what if i just get gt40heads? the explorers are only P type right?

GT40's came on Explorers up to 97.5, P's after that. GT40's also came on 93-95 Cobra's.
