Default Air bag light

My air bag light blinks on and off on my 90'. What would be the reason for this and how could I fix it?

Watch the blinks, it usually has a pattern. The pattern indicates the code. For example: 1 slow blink followed by 2 short blinks would be a code 12 (1 slow blink indicates 10's/short blinks indicates 1's) Then you just have to find a book that lists the codes and what they mean. Or take the car somewhere to be scanned, I think Advance has free scanning. My money would be on a bad clock spring. But, not being physically with the car, and not being an expert with air bags, I really have no clue.

if you have your original sun visor on the ride it tells you in the info printed on iyt about the air bag. i cant remember off hand but i think it means either a fuse or somethin with the air bag not system haveing an issue. you should basically have it checked out by a ford technition. if it really bothers you. i have an 88 with no bags so thats one less electrical problem i gotta worry bout...lol
