rotted floor?

Default rotted floor?

hey guys, do you think its worth to buy a 86 lx t top for cheap, even though it has like 2 holes in each side of the floor about 3". i know how to weld and can get a welder, is it worth it? and how would i fix this??

Its real easy to fix, take some metal and weld it over the holes, I would then get some eastwood rust preventor and brush the whole floor top and bottom then undercoat it. I have done it twice and once on a 86 t-top LX, heres a pic

well ok, do you think its easier to just replace each side of the floor? cuz i know there are more spots with rust just not all the way through?

and where would i find them floors, i have seen them in 5.0 mustang, modified mustang and MM and FF, but i just cant see them now.
