Thanks for your advice ill pass it on to him. It did throw a couple codes i forgot what they werebut neither one seemed like it had anything to do with the issue. He said the transmiision shifts early, slips a bit and shifts hard.

The reason he thought it was the computer is one night all his lights started acting up and flashing and said it happened when the all ths started. I think it may be a vacuum leak i looked over all the ones in plain site yesterdayand they are fine, he also cleaned the MAF and i helped a bit but not much.
