Default throttle question

when i running through my gears (its a stick) if i shift around 1500 to 3000 rpm the rpm's jump a few 100 before dropping down whrn i clutch, is this a timing issue or something else

lol i thought t was a possibility but i dont think i hink it might be the air filter, its starting rust (idk y it just is)

yeah this happened to me.i couldn't ever figure it out. i just deal with it now, even though it rarely does it anymore...

Mine did that too... Your throttle cable is either binding, routed bad, or both... For that matter I'd love to see a picture of the factory throttle cable routing near the firewall. I'm not 100% that mine is correct.

My other 4 5-speed EFI cars don't do it...
