RE: 94 GT Foglights
you need a couple of small flat bladed screwdrivers to remove the switch. use them to depress the clips on the sides of the switch while gently pulling on it so it releases from it's hole in the dash cover and then carefully pull out the switch so you can unplug it from the harness. the plugs also have a clip that needs to be released using the small screwdriver too. you could replace a bad switch with a toggle switch but you have to make sure the switch is rated for the current flow going through it. most times nowadays the car makers use low current switches to turn on a relay which carries the bigger current flow being used by things like fog lights and electric fans, etc. so you might need to find the relay and see if it has failed also. there is also a connection that prevents the fog lights from coming on when the high beam headlights are on, so this needs to be checked out also.
