Hear the aggressive sound of American Thunder.

Exhaust System, American Thunder, Cat Back, Aluminized Steel, Ford Mustang, Kit

These American Thunder exhaust systems have been designed with the latest exhaust technology available. Through this technology, you will experience improvements in acceleration, passing power, and fuel mileage. The key to these performance improvements is the use of mandrel-bent tubing. The tubing allows for superior exhaust gas flow, while aluminized steel construction allows for its corrosion-resistant qualities. They also feature a 2-chamber muffler(s) that’ll give you plenty of Flowmaster sound outside the vehicle, as well as inside it. Every kit comes complete with all necessary hangers, clamps, and mounting hardware for an easy installation.

I'm pretty sure that a '92 is a 2.5" exhaust. I think it was either '86 or '87 that they switched from 2.25 to 2.5.

by the way what are you getting for a price on that setup?

Incorrect, the stock exhaust on your car will still be 2 1/4" but because of the size of the flanges on the exhaust, it will still bolt right on. Don't even think twice about it, and when you finish off the exhaust with an H/X pipe and headers, it will make all the difference in sound and performance.

The 87/93's never had anything other than 2 1/4" exhaust.

The only difference it will make is that any part of your exhaust is smaller than technicaly the whole exhaust is flowing to that size. I would change all of your exhaust to 2.5

^^^ What he said. But yes it WILL work with your stock exhaust... Bsaically until you get an h/x pipe and some headers, you will only notice a sounds diff, the performance will come with the other things.

not so you can tell it. the ball and socket joints at the back of the stock H-pipe allow the pipe size to change without any problems making it fit.
