You will get 50 different opinions from 50 different guys. Here is mine. I have a 351 block so i dont know if you can run my cam, buy here goes. Stage 2 ported Trick Flows, custom grind 625/661 lift with 246/259 duration and 11:1 compression.I have a carb set-up. It depend's what purpose the car is going to serve as to what is best for you. If just track and occasional cruiser you can go wild.
I think the TF's are the only heads with a 2.02 that you can run without notching pistons.

You want the poor bastard to run 11:1 compression when he's gonna add a supercharger? You're mean!

well were in the same boat. this winter im doin a 331.
for heads i was gonna do afr185, holley systemax intake, and either an x or z ford racing cam, i cant remember which it was.
i dunno how good that cam will go with everything so i might end up getting a custom ground cam to match everything better.
but thats if i have the extra money for the custom cam.

Hey, i got a smile out of your ill ***. But most people who say they are going to do something in the "future" are just dreaming. Not talking about you OP, but some people are like that. Hell, sam i am nervous enough with 11.1 n/a unless i mix a little 110 octane. But it seems to be ok with 93. No detonation.

I know what you mean. I was one of those dreamers too, but I was stupid enough to actually go through with it. In August 2006 I was bone stock. Since then (during the past 12 months) I have added:
3.73 gears
TransGo Shift Kit
B&M Hammer Ratchet Shifter
Sprint Suspension
2-stage Nitrous kit
Painless performance hidden nitrous switches
Dual Nitrous Purge Kit
Bolt-on Rollbar
Subframe connectors
Procharger P-1SC Supercharger Kit
Battery relocation kit
Snow Boost Cooler Water / Methanol Injection Kit
A-Pillar boost vacuum gauge
X-pipe
Flowmaster 40 exhaust (catback)
summit headers
Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator
255lph fuel pump
30# injectors
Tweecer RT
Steeda #19 camshaft
rear upper / lower control arms
PMAS Protube 3" (76mm) blow through MAF
1" Intake Spacer

I think that's everything, lol. That's a lof of moeny to drop in 12 months [8D] Hope I didn't forget something but I usually do. But I think I'm one of tha rare exceptions. Most people aren't as dumb and impulsive as me. If I see the part and I want it, I have to have it, LoL. That's why I'm trying to slow down now before I talk myself into a twin turbo. Already trying like hell to keep away from the Nitto 555Rs.

I have the trickflow heads and i love them. I make decent power, and the heads leave alot of room for improvement. As far as intake, i have heard good things about the holley systemax
