im gasket matching so ther shouldnt be an problem with getting the correct size. imma go buy a measuring tool that way i know im keeping the same diamter throughout the port. i'd hate to bottle neck it or have big open area's and create turbulance

RE: final porting questions
well no, unless that will measure far enough into the intake. otherwise i was thinking more along the lines or like a telescoping tool or whatever they are called. i forget.

Crap, I know what you're talking about, but I don't know what it's called. It looks like a T where the top telescopes out when you twist the handle, so that you can measure the size deep in a port.

telescoping gauge, but you will need a micrometer to use it....or a scale. Try and find some inside dividers, should be cheap and easy to come by at sears. Then you can use a scale to measure off it.

RE: final porting questions
i looked up the telescoping things and its like 150 bucks for 4 of them....no way im spending that much on that. i can make the dial caliper work. either that or ill make a refference tool.

Yeah, the telescoping gauges are expensive, I have a full set for work.
