hi .. i take off my quad rear shock because i put larger tire on my 1989 5.0 lx and now when i do burnout at drag my wheel jump. So i just went to know what i can do for this problem

i have mickey thompson 255-50-16 on my car .. do you think the quad shock can be install whit this tire.

ditto that aode06! rear control arms will stop the wheel hop. plenty of good brands out there.

 

but i got rear control arm and i always got wheel hope

Whats your pinion angle set at? Could be to soft of shocks too. Also a 255/50/16 normaly give you plenty of clearance for the quad shocks.

 

+1 or you can put the quads on backwards if needed, but you shouldnt have a problem with 255/50

 

my reay chock are the lakewood 50/50 drag shock but i don't knowme pinion angle ... do you think i need to check mypinion angle ??
