So I can figure why I need a new fly wheel, but if they engine that I'm planning on buying has a distributor and everything else on it, do I still need to get different parts? The engine is %100 complete. A/C, P/S, and everything else it had from the factory.

well if it all there youll be ok with what you got. but youl still need 351 wap headers and a fox body 351 oil pan unless its got all that also, if it is ready to drop in a fox then its worth 550 easy. youl need to change you fuel system to work with the carbed setup i.e pump and regulator and pickup intake but thats only a couple hundred plus a throttle cable used from any mustang salvage yard 30 bucks.

Well, I've been doing some research about it and it looks like the only thing that I have to buy is a new fly wheel for it. I already have a 190lph fuel pump and BBK fuel pressure reg. I'm not an expert on fuel but shouldn't that be fine? It has a carb and intake man. so why would I need to get another one?

EFI pressure is like 30-45 lbs and carbed pressure is under 10 lbs so you need a intake suck thru pickup electric 140gph fuel pump and low pressure regulator and a filter bfore the pump and one before the carb, and that that there is no better way, its going to cost some $$$ if you want to do this.

No such thing.

HotrodmanII...The distributor shaft on most 302s are 1/4" while the 351 based motors are 5/16".

So if the 351 already had all the stock fuel lines and everything on it, couldn't I just use that until it comes time to upgrade? And would I need to get a whole new pump?
