My 95 GT convertible ran a 15.7 stock. The best we could get out of it (my dad and I), but that was with spinning all through first gear.

Then I got exhaust and 3.73s and ran a 15.3. But no traction in 1st gear and my timing was messed up as well as it was a hot day.

Not exactly sure on my elevation, but it's in Reynolds, Georgia if anyone is familiar.

i'd say your driver mod sucks.... what RPM's are you shifting at.

I got a 14.0 out of my cobra on street tires with a 2.4 60'

Do you suggest running the RPMs out or shifting at the peak of the power band?
What should I launch at with cobra heads/intake, 3.73s, and street slicks?

actually the cam is what helped me most out of all of that. installing it alone brought it up from when it was bone stock from 16.4 to 15.1 then from there all i got out of doing the rest was a 14.7 so i'm like wtf is holding me back here? ive done all this other stuff and only get four tenths out of it?
Honestly I think the gears did more than the cam. Your car should have been running a LOT faster than 16.4 stock, you should have been able to get 14.7 or at least close with just gears.

Keith i'm sure you're a better driver than him but GTs are like almost a second slower than the Cobras on average.
