When I turn the dimmer switch on high to light up the gauge cluster, nothing lights up (if i keep going until it clicks, the interior lights turn on as normal). It sucks driving at night,...I cant see any of my gauges or anything the dimmer has an affect on. I've checked the fuses, and tried replacing the dimmer with one from a junk yard. What else could cause this??? unless I waslucky andhappened to get another bad dimmer from the junk yard.

The only things thats on at night is my stereo...it's kind of scary.

i had the same problem about a year ago. My dash lights were not existant, but the interior light worked. i had to keep shining the map light onto the dash to see how fast i was going. I took apart my whole dash looking for the problem.i found the problem in my multifunction switch. I had to cut off one of the connectors and replace it. the male connector was melted at the bottom.after that it was fixed. no problems since.
