Default Intake Question

Okay, I ordered in an intake from a local performance shop. I told them a non-EGR 302. They send me an Edelbrock 7121, the problem is everything I've read says that the replacement (for me) is the Edelbrock 2121. The one I have doesn't have the two back coolant ports. Should I be worried? The intake I got was for a stock 289, 1965-66 Cobra, but as far as I know it says that it is a non EGR mani- for a Ford 289-302. Will I have a problem?

the one they gave you is the performer rpm....and the one you wanted was a performer 289......the rpm is for more modded engines with power bands up to 6500 and the performer is more for stock to mild modded engines with power band up to 5500 if you plan to do upgrades like heads and cam..meaning good ones then I'd go performer rpm..I use the air gap rpm but anyway....plan for the future mods and stick with the rpm =7121 as far as problems you shouldn't have any as it's a dual plane intake as the performer is to so drivability issue differences encountered between the two should be next to or close to none

+1, although if you had it to do all over again you would have probably been better off with the wieand 8124.

i have a ported performer rpm and i've been happy with it.
