Balancer and Flexplate
alright guys, lets see if you can help me out, my brain is frying right now lol
95GT
331 stroker-28oz imbalance
aode
apperantly the shop that balanced my assembly last time told me to buy a new flywheel so they could balance it. fine, but they used my stock harmonic balancer with the new flywheel. well they ground material off the bottom side of the rod caps and pretty much made my crank into swiss cheese.
the shop that im getting it done this time sais i need a new flexplate and harmonic balancer.
i need to know what tooth i need to use; 157 or 164.
i plan on spinning my combo to a max of 6,500rpms, a sfi balancer isnt manditory in this case, and since they are a good bit more in price, non sfi will work for now. the flexplate can be sfi since the prices are pretty much the same.
if you can give me a link to a 28oz harmonic balancer that is under $150 would be awsome.
the same for the flexplate would be nice. i found one on jegs for like $90, a TCI sfi plate.

RE: Balancer and Flexplate
im too lazy for a link, but the professional products balancers are a great buy.
btw, them grinding on your rods and swiss cheesing your crank means they actually balanced it
