Dying at start up!

Dying at start up!
89 mustang gt conv. specs are below. in the morning, every single morning i start up the car and it idles real struggle like, and actually turns off. for example the car starts, idle up to 1200 then bog bog, then the car boggs out, all with in about 2 seconds, only does it then. if i give it some gas as its struggling then it still struggles a little for a second and doesnt turn off that way, it then runs fine after that tap tap of the gas as it's struggling...... then its ok the entire day, i can turn it off and on no problem, its only that initial startup in the morning that makes it bog out and die...what could it be? i just got my injectors cleaned and fuel filter changed and it has been doing it before i got that done, but its like it does it worse a little at a time, i mean its in order, 3 months ago it barely dropped under idle RPM, 2 months ago it was almost bogging out, now it is. so any help would be great, thanks
...and just to add, if i turn the key to Accessory before the cold startup, the radio is fine....as soon i start it up the radio resets, only sometimes, its only the times the startup idle dies....please....anyone....

RE: Dying at start up!
check vac lines
check/reset tps
clean iab(remove from car and clean)
common checks^
as for the radio, a really bad wiring problem is my guess
i just read the other posts.
check the tfi module on the dizzy. yrs back i was experiencing startup probs and replaced and it was fine.
also the ignition distributor in the steering column sometimes/rarely it becomes loose and your power distributuion gets jackedup
hope this helps.

ok cool cool, thanks alot! I have C&L 76mm MAF, diablo, Accufab TB waitin to go in.....you think with all tps adjusting with this and the products it should stop doing it? And i did try to reset the batter, left the negative cable undone all night, put it on the in the morning and the startup was fine for about a week/week and a half, then started doing it again....but yes was a temporary fix doing that....what does that mean?

RE: Dying at start up!
that usually means that your computer is having a problem remembering where it was running at idle when you shut it off. you could be starting to get a EPROM failure. its like this when your car is below 1500 rpm it uses all your sensors information to keep it running.once you shut it down for the evening the computer stores all the information in memory it was using to idle.then in the morning when you crank it back up the computer immediatly reverts back in memory to remember how to idle. if the retun of memory is fouled then it must wait a bit for the sensors to get it the info to idle correctly thus it chokes, coughs, surges until it collects all the data to run properly.

i had the same issues. what i did is pulled codes first.
the first few times i never got a code then finally i got the code for the iac.
i replace the iac and the act together, reset base idle and tps. cleared codes. fired it back up and not a problem since.
