357w Head confusion! Need Input
Hey guys great site great info, right now I have a 351w .30over with Hawk H-beam rods balanced bottom end
polish and chamfered crank, the cam specs out to Intake lift .547 Exhaust .536 Duration at .006 int 276 exh 276,
duration at .050 int 220exh 224. lobe separation 113 descent idle!Oh JE pistons at 10.5-1 compression.
The big question what dam heads! I have a Trick FLow R upper and lower with a 75mm eldelbrock throttle body, I was
leaning towards the AFR 185 heads that flow 267cfm at .500 but I looked at Edelbrock Vector jrs that flow 268cfm at .500
and the Edelbrock is 200 bucks cheaper, the question is I havent seen allot of people run the Edelbrock heads I always here about
trick flow or AFR whats the deal with the edelbrock versus afr and is one that much better than the other any help would be appreciated oh I didnt want to spend over 1500 for heads still need to get some other parts thanks again guys.

if valve size is the same then compare the intake runner size and if the victor jr's are comparable to the afr 185's go with them...I personally like the afr's cause out of the box they are plain better if you compare the afr's to edelbrock's rpm series..afr's in that sense are just plain bigger

The difference is the edelbrock has a 205 intake port and 2.05 intake valvesand the AFR is 185 intake port and 2.02
valves but the edelbock starts to outflow past .500 lift. the other question I already have 1.6 3/8 roller rockers but the
edelbrock comes with 7/16 does arp make a 3/8 stud so I dont have to buy new rockers and would it affect anything other wise
with the geometry, thanks again guys
