when i reset the idle and let it run for 2 min with the iac pluged in and then shut off for 2 min, after that do i drive it normal or drive the hell out of it then shut off for 2 min, ive heard 2 sides

Normal drive cycle.......which should include 1 or 2 short runs under WOT, but you don't have to shut it off if you don't need to.

what you should do is disconnect the battery for like 15 minutes and it will wipe out the stored memory in the computer for the idle. plug the battery back in and take it for a spin WOT a couple times and you should be good
