Ok when driving in 3rd or 4th gear and i get on the gas my shifter starts to rattle prety noticeably like a metal on metal rattle however it doesnt happen in any other gear. Another thing when shifting from first to second gear with tire bite the shift will grind however with tire spin there is no grind going from first to second gear what could be causing these issues?


EDIT*** Forgot to mention its a stockT5 out of a 95 cobra, thing is none of the other gears grind and even with the rattle the gears seem to pull just fine.

check trans mount and driveshaft u-joints and tailshaft bushing......as for the grind...my guess is the blocker ring and or sincro hub is on it's way to the t-5 heaven.....why does 2nd gear issue not suprise me
