its dimebag...

yea i just did that, throw a cam in it too... im shooting for ~270rwhp n/a.... no work at all to the heads/intake, except making my valve springs work

alright thanks guys and as he said special headers?? i have mac equal lengths, am i going to have to get new headers?

if you get the gt40p's yes you will need new headers made for the special angle of the spark plugs. get the FRPP ones made for the p's if you have them. and if it is the 97+ intake then there is no boss for the act sensor so you will have to relocate it. and there are no provisions for EGR in the intake itself. so just delete it. (the 96 had it tho), depends if you car about emissions. and you will need new valve springs because the explorer ones are too soft. and you might as well get a new cam aswell. if you can try and find the 96 intake to save urself a little more work. and definitley have the heads rebuilt. ie ( milled .030, valve job w/ bigger exhaust valve, porting(exhaust only) )

any year of 5.0 explorer intake will work thoguht correct? just that some have to be modified to accomodate sensors?
