Still good advise Lordy. I'm with you. Anything can happen on the highway at 130. It isn't worth it.

i dont think driving 130 is driving like an ******* at all, if you don't wanna drive that fast then why did you buy a sports car much less a mustang and then mod it so it can do that all the time. especially if you have a street mustang that is made to do that. if ford didn't want you to go that fast they would have made the gt500 with 100 hp!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the 5.0 with no *****

see i like the way 86whitepony thinks ha they dont make fast cars to not go fast... but i also see where people are coming from but if you build a car right it can do 130 easily and not worry about losing control...

Put the car in park , use small socket to hold the throttle to the desired RPM and start looking.

While your at it, check your fluid levels and tire pressure.

Since when did this become the big brother foundation. Its his life he said one thing about driving fast and half the thread went to that. Let people learn on their own stick to the topics at hand. I have a similar problem with my car except it does it all the damn time. Ill be cruising in 5th gear and it will start spitting and sputtering and ill put it to the floor and nothing then 5 seconds later it acts the the gas finally gets there and it goes back to normal. But if i start cruising again after a few minutes it starts doin it again. I have a stron whistling sound coming from the engine too from about 1200 to 4500 it jsut whistles. Someone told me that the throttle body might have been changed out for a TB that was filed to make the air spin coming in to it but ive never heard of that before. I dunno im taking that fuel injected **** off and going carb'd.
