from what ive heard, it doesnt actually increase hp. It decreases weight which will lower your times, and also makes the engine easier to rev. The easier it is to rev, the quicker you get into your power band, the quicker you make power. So you dont necessarily make MORE power, but you MIGHT be able to make it very very slightly quicker.

However all in all your basically just losing weight, cleaning up your engine bay. I personally havent done it yet, but ive got no use for my smog or my ac so i am sure in due time i will be doing it. I am waiting until i do my h/c/i and battery relocation though.
